The rules
- Directory listings are free and cannot be bought.
- Verification status cannot be sponsored.
- Search and category ordering is alphabetical; no paid placement inside results.
- If a school ever sponsors a clearly-marked placement (none do at launch), it is labeled "Sponsored" wherever it appears and never changes its profile's facts or its position in results.
Related ownership
LA Acting Schools and Headshots LA are independently operated by the same owner, Joshua Michael Shelton. Because of that shared ownership, the home page carries a clearly labeled Headshots LA callout, and Headshots LA is also linked on our actor headshots resource page and in the site footer. Every one of those links is marked sponsored and carries this same-owner disclosure. What that ownership never buys: no school profile recommends Headshots LA, verification status and result ordering are never affected by it, and if a school publicly recommends other photographers we report that fact unchanged.
