What we publish
Each school profile is built only from primary sources: the school's own website (class, schedule, tuition, and about pages), its official social profiles, and, when needed, established press for founding history. Every profile lists its sources with the date we accessed them.
What we never do
- We never copy a school's marketing copy. Every description is written by us, from verified facts.
- We never estimate prices. If a school does not publish tuition, the profile says exactly that.
- We never rank schools or name a single "best" school. The comparison page compares documented fields.
- We never let payment change facts, ordering, or verification (see the advertising policy).
Verification levels
- Verified: core facts confirmed across at least three official pages, with few open gaps.
- Partially verified: the school operates, but some fields (often pricing or exact schedules) are
not published and are marked as unconfirmed. Fields we could not confirm are not displayed at all rather than guessed.
Inclusion criteria
Established, currently operating acting schools and training programs in greater Los Angeles. Active operation must be provable from current schedules, dated 2026 class listings, or equivalent evidence. Schools of any size can be listed through the same process; nobody can pay to be included or excluded.
Updates
Every profile shows a researched date and a last-verified date. When a school's own pages conflict (it happens more than you would think), we either publish the conflict openly or hold the fact back until the school confirms.
