Braden Lynch Studio is a West Valley boutique operation with unusually transparent pricing. Lynch, a working actor and the author of four acting craft books, has coached since 2006 and teaches what he calls the BLS Acting Technique, an enhanced Stella Adler approach integrated with human psychology.
Two weekly in-person classes run in Reseda, a Wednesday afternoon Technique class and a Tuesday evening Master Class, each capped between six and twelve actors, billed at a published $300 for four consecutive weeks. Entry runs through a $25 thirty-minute evaluation, credited toward enrollment, which functions as the intro step in place of an audit. The a la carte menu is fully published too: private coaching at $150 an hour, accent and dialect coaching (Lynch claims fluency in over twenty accents), audition taping with a reader, and self-tape reviews, with online coaching worldwide.
Adults 18 and up in group classes. The Reseda location is a hike from Hollywood but a gift for West Valley actors tired of the 101. One lead-correction note: despite Lynch's own voice-acting career, the studio currently offers acting classes, not voiceover training.
