What this training is
The work is faster and less explained. Material is harder, notes are more demanding, and in many rooms the other actors are working professionals. In technique programs the advanced year is usually where text and full application arrive after foundational exercise work. Some advanced rooms are effectively professional workshops rather than classes.

How to compare them
Ask what the entry requirement actually is, since a class that calls itself advanced with open enrollment is not one. Ask who is in the room, because at this level the other actors determine much of the value. If you trained elsewhere, ask how the studio places incoming actors rather than assuming you will start at the top.
